I bought this book when I met the author at an event in Florida. What a well written and beautifully illustrated children’s book about fitting in and being loved. I liked that each page also gave kids something extra to do by counting all the hearts they can find. At the end, you get to see a picture of the real life live pig named “Bacon”, and know that this was really a true story. I hope there is a sequel!

What a precious book! I wish I had lots of young children and grandchildren to share this book with. The story has a wonderful plot and the illustrations are beautiful!
